Founded in 2013 and based in Luton, United Kingdom, Protect Project is a trusted registered charity for African people to meet, discover, and advocate for child protection in their communities.
The charity was founded as a response to the Government's National Action Plan to tackle child abuse linked to faith or belief. Protect Project aims to protect African children from cultural and faith practices such as witchcraft, FGM (Female Genital Mutilation), child trafficking, domestic abuse and all other forms of child abuse.

Safeguarding Vulnerable Children
At Protect Project we give guidance to parents and faith leaders on how they can identify, protect and safeguard vulnerable children.
We are committed to the following values:
Confidentiality, Dignity, Equality, Justice, Peace, Freedom and Tolerance. We understand that people are more likely to be open about their feelings when they can trust you, listened to and are safe, that is why we subscribe to these high values so we can raise awareness of child abuse.
"Children are the reward of life."
